Savanna Stalkers was founded from two worlds coming together — one deeply rooted in the African bush, and the other shaped by international travel and curiosity.

Our Story

Co-founder Warric Venter was born and raised in South Africa, growing up in and around the bush. From a young age, his life was shaped by time spent in nature, a deep love for wildlife, and a respect for places like Kruger National Park, which played a major role in shaping his understanding of conservation and land stewardship. Giving back to wildlife and protecting natural spaces has always been part of how he was raised.

The other half of Savanna Stalkers comes from New York, where Dayami Rivera grew up with a lifelong dream of visiting Africa. When Warric first brought me to South Africa and ultimately to Kruger, I experienced something that changed everything. The scale, beauty, wildlife, and honesty of the bush left a permanent mark. It became clear that this was something people needed to experience properly, responsibly, and truthfully.

Together, we built Savanna Stalkers with a shared mission: to bring people to Africa in the right way.

Who We Are

Savanna Stalkers is a curated travel company specialising in:

• Ethical, conservation-driven hunting experiences
• Fishing and saltwater fishing in South Africa and Mozambique
• Luxury photographic safaris and immersive bush experiences

We serve primarily American and international travellers, acting as a trusted bridge between them and some of Africa’s most respected reserves, outfitters, and conservation organisations.

Our Partners

We work exclusively with vetted partners who practise ethical wildlife management, sustainable land use, and fair employment practices. Our network includes respected reserves and properties such as Mandalosi, Rhinoceros, Nambu Tree, Singita, and many others across South Africa and neighbouring regions.

Conservation is the core of Savanna Stalkers. It’s not a marketing angle for us; it is a non-negotiable.

Savanna Stalkers has partnered with Wildlife ACT, a frontline conservation organisation actively involved in wildlife protection and wildlife monitoring. Through this partnership, we offer access to Wildlife ACT’s Rhino Dehorning Experience, Pangolin Walk, Rhino Orphanage, and more.

Importantly:

• Savanna Stalkers takes no proceeds from this experience
• 100% of funds go directly to Wildlife ACT and their conservation efforts

This allows travellers to move beyond observation and actively support on-the-ground conservation work.
